The Commission's Joint Research Centre has published a call for tenders relating to a pilot study on harmonising national forest inventories in Europe.

The project will be a first attempt to provide harmonised NFI information at the supra-national level. It will constitute a first operative attempt to harmonise national datasets in order to derive a unique Forest Information database at European level.
