Five leading Paris-based higher education establishments are to share resources and co-ordinate their policies to increase their collective influence at home and abroad. The presidents of the universities of Paris-3 Sorbonne Nouvelle, Paris-6 Pierre et Marie Curie and Paris-Dauphine, together with the heads of the Ecole Normale Supérieure and the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, have formed the Alliance Paris Universitas.
