Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology is a public higher education institution in the Philippines with a history that dates back to 1908, when it was founded as an industrial school by American educator Amos Allen. Over more than a century of development, the school evolved through several stages, including Lagangilang Farm School, Lagangilang Agricultural School, Lagangilang National Agricultural School, and Lagangilang Agricultural College, before becoming the Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology.
The institute is located in the province of Abra in northern Luzon, Philippines, and operates campuses in Lagangilang and Bangued. The main campus in Lagangilang is situated in a spacious rural setting, while the Bangued campus expands access to higher education in the provincial capital.
Academically, the institute offers both undergraduate and graduate degree programmes across a wide range of subject areas including agriculture, forestry, engineering, information technology, education, criminology, social work, political science, industrial technology, and the arts and sciences.
