Pampanga State Agricultural University is a state university located in Magalang, Pampanga, Philippines. Tracing its origins back to 1873 as an agricultural experiment station named La Granja Modelo de Luzon, it later developed into Pampanga Agricultural College, which was established to provide agricultural education and training in the region. After being converted into a state university in 2013, the institution became Pampanga State Agricultural University, expanding its role beyond agricultural education into a broader higher education to include applied sciences, technology, engineering, business, education, and other related fields.
The university is situated in Magalang, Pampanga, a municipality in Central Luzon, one of the Philippines’ most significant agricultural regions.
The university offers programmes across a variety of subject areas including agriculture, forestry, fisheries, environmental science, teacher education, engineering, information technology, business, entrepreneurship, and the sciences.
A distinctive feature of PSAU is its ownership of approximately 500 hectares of teaching and research land, providing students with opportunities to develop practical skills through hands-on learning and field-based experience.
